About

DrugZen and DrugExperience are sibling projects for honest, evidence-based harm reduction. They share accounts, a moderation team, and a commitment to sourcing every substantive claim we publish.

Why

Most drug information online falls into three piles: judgmental abstinence-only, unverified forum lore, or paywalled clinical literature. None of that helps a person deciding what to do tonight. DrugZen answers questions using a vetted library of public-health sources and cites every claim. DrugExperience collects structured first-person accounts so people can compare real experiences, not marketing.

What we will not do

  • Provide specific doses, recipes, synthesis, extraction, or sourcing.
  • Moralize about drug use.
  • Publish anything from the AI without a citation.
  • Sell your data.

Nonprofit roadmap

Both projects are on a path to become nonprofit organizations, either as independent 501(c)(3)s or under fiscal sponsorship. The current version has no donation form on purpose; we want the legal structure right first. When that structure exists, this section will link to it.

Credits and sources

Ask Zen draws from public-domain content from SAMHSA, CDC, NIDA, and verified public hotlines. See the library for every source we can cite.

Not medical advice

Nothing here replaces a doctor or a crisis line. If you're in danger, call 911 or 988.
